Shipping Information

Shipping A Puppy by Air -- The buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs.  A new shipping crate is purchased especially for your new puppy and is included in the shipping costs.  Shipping cost could increase depending on weight and size of the puppy you are purchasing. The Price of the puppy and all shipping costs must be paid in FULL, before a puppy will be shipped. Minimum age to ship the puppy is 8 - 9 weeks of age -- No Exceptions! Average shipping costs for a puppy at 8 - 9 weeks of age is $550.00 to most locations.  We ship to most locations in the 48 Continental United States. We do ship to some locations in Canada, but you will need to add $150. 00 to the price listed above if you are located in Canada.

If you are unable to have the puppy shipped at 8 weeks of age, we will board the puppy depending on the circumstances for an additional fee.  If you need one of our puppies to be scheduled for flight to you, please request a “Royal Ridge Shipping Form”.  In order to ship a puppy the temperature of departure, arrival, and anywhere in between where the pup may be "on the ground", cannot exceed 85ºF or be below 30ºF. - This is only due to the fact that the vans that receive the puppy when in flight is not acclimated and can get hot or cold in the drive to the airport in-between stops.  You will be asked for your identification (picture id) when you pick up the puppy at the airport.  We will provide you with the flight information when we receive it along with other information to prepare you to pick up your little one.  We usually do not have the flight confirmation times until the week that the puppy ships out. Shipment is subject to change with short notice due to climate or flights availability.

Ground Shipping - There are several service "Ground" shippers available. We would be more than willing to check into one for you should you chose to go this route.  Depending on our schedule for an additional fee we would be happy to drive your puppy directly to you, personally!

Picking up your puppy at our Home.  We have had several people prefer to come here and pick up their puppy.  That is perfectly fine with us, and we welcome it so very much.  Please schedule the times and dates ahead for arrival, so that we may have your puppy's health certificate and paperwork ready for you.  Also at times we are able to drive 2 - 3 hours from home (sometimes much further) to help in (your convenience) driving time.  This of course, would have to coordinate with our schedule.

No matter what method of shipping/delivery you choose to get the puppy to you, you must remember that once the puppy is "out of our hands" and in the care of you and or the "carrier" [airline, etc.], we are no longer financially responsible for it.  Once you have put down a deposit on your choice of pup(s) we will contact the airlines and get a quote for you as soon as possible.

Deposit Information

If you are interested in one of our puppies, but can not remit the full amount at one time, we do require a $500.00 amount for all of our puppies, non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy for you.  Once the puppy has been purchased and/or a deposit placed, we do not give refunds on our puppies, thus at times under certain circumstances that we agree upon we might offer an exchange for another puppy.  We can not hold a puppy without the deposit.  This deposit will be credited to the purchase price of the puppy.  This deposit is only good for one year.  All funds due on your new puppy as well as all shipping costs must be paid prior to shipment or leaving our home.  Your puppy will not ship or leave our home if funds are not received in full.  Also, please keep in mind the additional fees that may apply if a puppy has to be held past 9 weeks of age.  If you have paid your $500.00 deposit and circumstances arise where you are unable to remit the remainder of funds due -- please remember that this is a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.  We do require that you let us know as soon as possible if you can not remit the remaining funds due as there is usually a waiting list for our puppies.  (We are usually more than happy to work with you and place the deposit "at times" towards another litter/puppy.)

If you want to use the puppy/dog for breeding, that is your decision.  We do not "guarantee" that the puppy/dog we sell you will be of "breeding quality". We do guarantee that the puppy/dog will be a healthy puppy/dog when it leaves here to go to its new home.

1) Deposits can be paid by Venmo, Cashapp, cash, check, wire transfer, and/or thru Western Union.

    - Deposits are non-refundable.  They are good for one year only.

    - Deposits will be not be refunded if they are put down on a "future" or

"coming litter" of puppies and that animal/litter does not deliver.

The deposits will go toward a "future" and/or "coming litter"

    - Also, If you place a deposit (with a note saying specifically what you

want) for a "specific puppy" before that puppy is born (such as you only

want a "Tri Color, Red and White, and/or Sable", etc.) then if the litter

does not include what you specified your deposit was for, we will hold it

      for the next litter.

2) Before you place a deposit, you need to call Royal Ridge Corgis at: (417)252-1601 or Email Us at: royalridgefarm@gmail.com, to be sure the puppy is available.

3) When you place a deposit you will be asked to fill our “A Royal Ridge Deposit Form”, which includes all pertinent information needed.

4) Once a deposit is placed, that is a "promise" that you will buy that puppy when it is ready to go to its new home.

    - If we cannot contact you to let you know that your puppy is ready to go,

we will continue to try for 5 days to reach you.  After 5 days, if we still

can not contact you, we will then put the puppy up for adoption and it

will be at our discretion whether to keep your deposit or to hold it for the

      next litter.

Please rest assured we will make multiple efforts to contact you.

    - When we notify you that the puppy is ready to go to its new home, you

will have 5 days in which to pick the puppy up, unless other

      arrangements are made.

    - If you do not pick up your puppy within 5 days, and you do not notify us

(with good reason) of the delay, then the puppy will go up for adoption,

and we will keep your deposit.

    - If you cannot pick up your puppy within 5 days, but you still want the

puppy, then arrangements can "most likely" be made for us to board

the puppy for an additional fee per day/week.

    - If you have paid a deposit on a puppy and you find that circumstances

prevent you from accepting the puppy when it's ready, then it is

"possible" that we can arrange for us to "hold" the deposit for the next

available litter.  (We will not continue to hold this deposit for litter after

litter - please contact us if there is an issue.)  But only if you notify us

immediately and we both come to an agreement. (If you wait until our

home has notified you that the puppy is ready to be picked up and then

tell us that you can't/won't take it right now, then we have the option of

keeping your deposit, placing the puppy up adoption, and not adopting

      you a future puppy.)

Breeding is a serious endeavor and we take pride in doing our best to bring you the best of our Pembroke Welsh Corgi Breed.  All we ask from you is an honest agreement and a caring, loving, and forever home for our puppies/dogs.  It is crucial that we both agree and are honest and fair to one another.  I am sorry for being so strict with the above restrictions, but I find it is necessary for both of us to be happy and safe.  It’s up to us both to make the best possible home for the puppy being adopted. Thank you for your cooperation.

We guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of our knowledge.  All puppies will have a vet health certificate prior to pickup and/or shipping from our home.  (depending on time allowing for vet appointment before picking up your new puppy.)  Each owner/home is offered a two year "basic" health guarantee for their new puppy.  All shots are up to date and puppies will be free from obvious defects at the time of pickup and/or shipment.  Puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment from time to time.  Minor problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, guardia, wormy stool, etc., may occur and must be treated immediately.  These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and should be checked by a veterinarian.  Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by our guarantee.  A replacement puppy will be offered in exchange for a puppy purchased should death and/or illness occur before pickup and/or delivery.  If a replacement puppy is not available one will be offered to you in a future litter.

Buyers Responsibility

Have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of delivery or pickup (If you need more time – please let us know in advance to make an amended time with you.)  We must be informed immediately of the examination's result by email or by telephone and a copy of the paper work submitted to us via the us postal service.  Failure to complete this crucial step will terminate the health guarantee on your puppy.  This guarantee will then be null and void.  Be sure to provide your puppy with routine preventative care, such as, but not limited to:  Annual physical examinations by a licensed veterinarian.  Follow veterinarian guidelines for vaccinations and de-worming.

Health Guarantee

We guarantee our puppies to be in good health to the best of our knowledge.  All puppies will have a vet health certificate prior to pickup and/or shipping (should time allow within appointment made) from our home.  All shots are up to date and puppies will be free from obvious defects at the time of pickup and/or shipment.  Puppies may be severely stressed by the change in their environment from time to time.  Minor problems such as diarrhea, guardia, coccidiosis, wormy stool, etc., may occur and must be treated immediately and appropriately.  These conditions are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and should be properly checked by a veterinarian.  Minor health problems that can be cured by medication or surgery are not covered by any guarantee.  A replacement puppy will be offered in exchange for a puppy purchased should death or illness occur before pickup and/or delivery.  If a replacement puppy is not available one will be offered to you in a future litter.

Your puppy is guaranteed until two years of age against fatal and life altering congenital diseases which adversely affect the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia, which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct; kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature.  If the dog dies within this two year time frame, you must pay to have it autopsied to ascertain reason of death.  If reason is congenital, we will replace the puppy.

All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only.  A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows: Animal must show the defect by two years of age.  We must be notified of the problem within two (2) business days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have one (1) report from an unassociated veterinarian stating the same problem.  We will then provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value.  A puppy with a defect must be returned to us in good condition, other than the specified problem or euthanasia with our permission at your expense to qualify for a replacement puppy.  The replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality (healthy).  It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents as the original puppy.  This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party.  We will not be held responsible for any medical expenses incurred.  You, as the buyer, are fully aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understand that you will be responsible for all payments and appointments.  As of the date of delivery and/ or pickup, your puppy has received proper vaccinations and has been de-wormed on a strict schedule.  You have been informed of the puppy's vaccination and de-worming schedule and are aware of future vaccinations and de-wormings that will be due.  This guarantee does not cover Guardia, Coccidia and Bordetella, which can be common in puppies that are shipped/transported. This bacteria can be spread easily through boarding kennels, dog parks, and other public areas where you may take your puppy.  If you would like to have your puppy vaccinated against Bordetella please let us know.  We try not to over vaccinate at a young age.  Bordetella is self-limiting and, like the common cold, must run its course.  We recommend vaccinating against Bordetella twice a year.  There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as but not limited to:  allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, tumors, growths, scabies, mite related illness are not covered by this guarantee.  Any physical problem which is and/or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee. There is no guarantee that you will be able to show and/or breed your puppy regardless of show and/or breeding potential.

“Due to the varying kinds of food and different environmental conditions the puppies come in contact with; and the fact that all puppies have immune systems that take time to mature, the terms of this guarantee will not be honored unless they are given NuVet Plus® immune system builder, as directed by the manufacturer, for the entire guarantee period.  Failure to do so will render this guarantee null and void except where prohibited by law.  We also highly recommend you continue to give your pet NuVet Plus beyond the guarantee period to promote optimal health for a lifetime.”
